Key Responsibilities
- Emergency Response: Provide expert support to the Technical Operations Center (TOC) and field technicians to resolve emergencies and incidents, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Incident Management: Lead the preparation of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for all emergencies and major incidents.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and direct a team of field technicians involved in the installation, maintenance, and operation of various telecommunication systems and support equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work performed by field technicians meets quality standards and established protocols. This includes validating their reports and information for accuracy.
- Resource & Asset Management: Oversee the proper use, care, and security of all company assets within the region, including tools, vehicles, and generators. This includes managing the availability of spare parts and fuel with the support of the O&M Supervisor.
- Maintenance Planning: Collaborate with the O&M Supervisor to plan, implement, and monitor Preventive and Corrective Maintenance (PCM)
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications. Ensure effective and timely communication with clients and other departments through meetings, reports, and emails.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills to anticipate risks, identify potential issues, and develop proactive solutions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Ensure all required documentation and reports are accurately created and submitted to clients and internal stakeholders on time. This also includes investigating and reporting any incidents, such as fuel theft.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Communications).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrated experience in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) within the telecom sector.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills, particularly related to power systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, 24/7 environment.
- Flexible and willing to travel throughout Myanmar.
